My name is Markus Plinke. I am a professional Animator. I grew up in Tübingen (Germany)
Since childhood I have always been fascinated by 2D Animationfilms and admired the ability of bringing strokes to life. Deeply inspired by „Toy Story 1“ I decided to become an Animator.
During my studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg I was introduced to the hole filmmaking process including scriptwriting, editing, directing and the principles of animation. I also had the possibility to delve myself into CG and quickly 3D animation became a passion to me. While working in teams on student projects I earned a lot of experience in character animation. Since graduating in 2006 , with a diploma in Animation, I moved to Hamburg and worked on commercials for about 3 years.
Currently, I am working as a freelance character animator in Germany.
